Homeschool programsThe museum offers programs specifically for homeschool students to explore science. Our programs are flexible and fit the needs of mixed age groups.
Homeschool programs are targeted for groups in K-2nd grade, 3rd-5th grade, 6th-8th grade, and 9th-12th grade. Programs are 1-2 hours in length and include hands-on activities.
Programs are limited to 15 students and 2 adults.
Cost and scheduling:
Homeschool programs cost $5 per student. Programs must be scheduled three weeks in advance. To schedule a homeschool program, please contact us. A museum staff member will contact you within 48 hours.
Awesome Amphibians and Radical Reptiles - Explore the amazing diversity of reptiles and amphibians! The program will consist of a range of topics that highlight some of the most interesting organisms on the planet.
A Bug’s Life - Get a glimpse into the inner workings of the most species-rich group of animals on the planet. We will explore insect societies and their complex relationships with plants and other organisms, as well as an array of arachnid behaviors and adaptations. This program sheds light on some of the planet's most abundant and important organisms.
2 Legs, 4 Legs, 6 Legs, More! - This program highlights curiosities across all phyla. Topics will showcase diversity in animal adaptations, habitats and homes, and the amazing relationships animals can have with different species - including humans!
